X-TELIA launches a new sensor to measure snowfall

Oct 1, 2019

X-TELIA is launching a new wireless sensor to measure snowfall this winter. The new solution sends an alert to a city's foreman when snowfall reaches a specific threshold, allowing the city to trigger a snow removal operation at the right time, day or night. Thanks to its LoRaWAN network used by more and more cities in Quebec, X-TELIA is able to offer the best smart city solutions developed anywhere in the world. LoRaWAN is the global standard for connected objects and the smart city. X-TELIA also has versions of these sensors to measure river levels during spring flooding and send alerts.
