Longueuil wins the RIMQ's "Excellence Défi Municipal" award for its Smart Parking project
In collaboration with the City of Longueuil, the X-TELIA team developed a sophisticated algorithm to determine the direction of a vehicle as it passes through two rows of wireless sensors at the entrance to a parking lot. Combined with a dashboard on the X-TELIA IoT HUB platform, this solution allowed the city to provide citizens with real-time information on the occupancy rate of municipal parking lots during the winter months. LoRa technology is ideal for smart parking projects. More details.
