Launched in summer 2025, X-PRESSION is the new solution developed by X-TELIA to help municipalities continuously monitor the pressure of their water supply networks. Already implemented in several Quebec cities, this local technology is transforming the way municipal teams manage the performance and safety of their drinking water infrastructures.
Simple to install, powerful to use
Based on LoRaWAN wireless pressure sensors, X-PRESSION is easily installed at strategic points in the network - before or after a pressure regulator, at the outlet of a booster pump or in an underground manhole.
No wiring, no power supply: data are automatically transmitted to the X-TELIA web portal, accessible via computer, tablet or cell phone.
Intelligent, proactive monitoring
Municipal managers can visualize pressure at all four corners of the network in real time, monitor trends and configure customized alert thresholds.
As soon as an anomaly is detected, an e-mail or text message notification is sent to enable rapid intervention - before a breakdown or water loss occurs.
Tangible results in the field
Initial deployments are already showing reductions in incidents, better planning of interventions and optimization of drinking water distribution.
