X-TELIA's X-O solution chosen to read water meters in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
Deployment of the LoRaWAN network in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
X-TELIA is proud to announce the completion of the municipal LoRaWAN network deployment for the City of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
This new long-range, low-power network will transport data for automated remote reading of water meters, a strategic project that modernizes drinking water management and improves the city's operational efficiency.
The first water meters are already connected and continuously transmit their data to our remote reading platform. X-Oremote reading platform, enabling:
- A daily automated reading
- Faster detection of anomalies and leaks
- A reduction in field visits
- More accurate management of water consumption
The LoRaWAN network in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is a scalable infrastructure that will be able to support future municipal IoT applications, such as pressure measurement, water level monitoring, park management, and smart buildings.
This project is part of X-TELIA's mission:
